Erwin is both organic farmer and teacher
The family-run Angerhof farm is situated in the quiet village of Morter at the entrance of Val Martello and was founded by Erwin and Andrea who decided to put together their inherited orchards to establish a new organic farm. Today, they constitute a very good and versatile team.
Andrea drives the tractor, helps at the farm and cares about the house and the guests’ apartments. Erwin works both as an organic farmer and as a teacher at a vocational college. He got a teacher’s diploma in machine engineering and is specially trained to work with disabled people.
Furthermore, he was the first in Val Venosta to produce organic wines. Erwin and Andrea have been convinced organic farmers since 1996. They do not only see organic as a general principle but think that organic further develops your own personality because environmental protection and socioculture are positive values for a future worth living.
This bright and smooth crossover makes the pests stay away, therefore, it is especially popular in organic farming.

Golden Delicious is our main variety and, therefore, the queen of Val Venosta apples. That the most popular apple has a real quality, can be seen in its lovely red cheek. By the way, this is typical of fruits on a hillside.

The Pinova with its red vermilion-red skin is a typical apple of Val Venosta. Not only is it colourful, it also has a very balanced flavour. Thanks to its long durability, it offers you unlimited fruit enjoyment until the summer season.
