Among the northern apricot orchards of Europe Val Venosta represents a peculiarity. Thanks to the sandy mountain soils and the unique climate with much sun, little rain, dry air and a significant difference in temperature between day and night Val Venosta is an ideal place for the cultivation of apricots. The special microclimate of Val Venosta results in an unequalled taste of our apricots. Five different apricot varieties are cultivated in Val Venosta: Val Venosta apricot (Vinschger Marille), Ungarische Beste, Orangered, Goldrich and Hargrand. We offer black cardboard boxes with 10 and 3 kg of first quality apricots and white cardboard boxes with 10 kg for jam apricots and loose apricots.
