Strawberries are tender fruits and hence not suited for long transportation. We therefore try hard to commercialize our strawberries fast and carefully. Our strawberries are normally packed in 250 g trays. Thanks to these small packaging units we can avoid that the pressure sensitive strawberries become mushy. For transportation the fruit trays are either put into wooden or cardboard crates (8 strawberry trays per unit) or into reusable plastic crates (16 strawberry trays per unit). In order to be able to fully enjoy the taste of our mountain strawberries, we suggest you to possibly buy the fruits the day you would like to eat them.
