Cauliflower is normally harvested in the morning and then brought to the cooperative until lunchtime. After quality controls it is often delivered to the different wholesalers all around Italy on the same day. Thanks to an efficient logistic system the vegetables can be found in the shelves after only 1-2 days after having been harvested and are therefore absolutely fresh. Cauliflower is packed in cardboard or wooden crates. Reusable plastic crates are also available on request. One crate normally contains 8 cauliflowers.
