Integrated production

The Val Venostas apples taste very well, among other reasons, because they also do good to the environment. In that we really do not make concessions. We follow the guidelines of integrated farming and, therefore, we prefer natural care measures.
Regular inspection
Quality Control South Tyrol carefully controls that the guidelines are met.
Continuous development
The apple production is continuously revised and upgraded.
Eco-friendly measures
Natural care measures are preferred.

Nature, rather than chemistry

Nature is treated with respect in every stage of integrated cultivation. "Beneficial insects" are used in the orchards to displace the pests, insects such as our trademark ladybirds.

Less is more

The use of pesticides is reduced to a minimum, in order to maintain the ecological balance. This means that we only reach for chemical substances, if the natural balance has been disturbed.

Guidelines for the integrated cultivation

AGRIOS prepares the guidelines each year on the basis of the national guidelines for integrated cultivation and with consideration of the latest findings from research and practice.
