Association of Val Venosta producers of fruit and vegetables

VIP - this is the association of fruit and vegetable producers from the Vinschgau Valley. Our roots as a producer organization go back to the year 1990. Since then we have been working successfully together as an agricultural cooperative and non-profit organization. “Cooperation before profit” is our motto, and we place great importance on service, quality, and environmental, social and economic responsibility.

take care of the member farmers, customers and different areas.

1,500 producers

allow good things to flourish, of which 1,220 are IP-compliant and 280 are organic.

5,500 ha of land

are cultivated by farmers, about 30% of the area without herbicides.

320,000 t apples

are harvested on average per year. All individually and by hand.

Our Network

A network is strong when it holds together, and this is true for our 1,500 members. The farmers from a total of seven cooperatives form a tightly-knit unit. VIP provides them with comprehensive support in sales, administration, marketing, quality, controlling, and IT. After all, every network needs a "hub" to operate efficiently and smoothly.

Our Mission

Everyone should benefit from VIP: our members, whom we support in every way. The end consumers who can rely on our products. And also the environmental aspects we take into account in our activities. As a fruit-growing region implementing a range of sustainability measures, we aim to offer apples that meet defined quality standards and to be recognized by the trade as a leading partner for expertise and service. These points are consolidated in our company policy.
