In the apples paradise
The Venosta Valley is home to the most delicious apples
The apple history begins in the Garden of Eden. And since then it has not lost any of its appeal. Not only does it look good to bite and it really tastes great, but it also makes our body well, and our Val Venosta apple producers know it not only from the saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away". That's why they do everything possible every day to get the best out of their apples.
Do you know this?
This is how the taste and quality enter in the apple
Altitude up to 1,000 m
Between 500 and 1,000 m, our apples feel really good.
300 sunny days
Then, as true sun worshipers, our apples grow exactly in the right place.
Meeting high quality standards is part of our creed.
Martin Tappeiner, an organic apple producer from Val Venosta, runs the Pröfinghof farm in Parcines with great commitment and ingenuity. His effort for biodiversity and ecological balance at his farm has now been awarded: He is the winner of the „Mei liabste Wies“ (My favorite orchard) competition.
No wonder that it has become a typical variety from Val Venosta. Pinova loves South Tyrol’s west just like its mother variety, Queen Golden Delicious, does. Together, they are the pride of Val Venosta’s apple producers.
