First class apples need real care
Our farmers put a lot of love and manual labour in the farming of Val Venostas apples. It does not matter if it is the integrated or biological method. The favourite fruit of South Tyrol and our environment are always the most important and, therefore, are also appreciated and cherished.
The Val Venostas apples taste very well, among other reasons, because they also do good to the environment. In that we really do not make concessions. We follow the guidelines of integrated farming and, therefore, we prefer natural care measures.
When it comes to our apples, only the best is good enough. That is why we strictly adhere to the EU guidelines for organic farming and also take into account the farming standards of the Bioland and Demeter associations. Following the slogan: If it is about biological, this is the one!
Apple producer Felix Telser from Val Venosta has three apple orchards that are completely different from each other. When Felix visits the family-owned apple orchards with his father Reinhard, he intuitively and unconsciously starts to draw comparisons.
