Val Venosta apricots grow at higher altitudes in the valley, where the climate is mild and dry. The fruits are characterised by their soft skin, hard stone and distinctive aroma. With their aromatic flavour, they are a speciality of Val Venosta. Apricots also naturally contain beta-carotene, a precursor of vitamin A.

Sweet delicacies from the Stelvio National Park

About 20 producers cultivate high-quality mountain strawberries in Val Martello, a side valley of Val Venosta. These sweet berries are harvested in summer between June and the beginning of September, which, however, is not always easy as these delicious fruits are very sensitive.
