I’m very proud of my Nicoter/Kanzi® apples.
By adhering to the strict Bioland guidelines I voluntarily set rules that go far beyond the legal minimum standards for organic food. Above all, Bioland means NO to genetic engineering, chemical-synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.
When I took over the Langstrein farm in Laces from my mother, we both agreed that our Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Gala, Granny Smith, Bonita and Kanzi apples should be healthy and natural products from organic production. Our employee Elmar, who studied at Laimburg, the South Tyrolean technical college for fruit production, viticulture and horticulture, provides the necessary knowledge. Together we produce precious apples and promote soil fertility and biodiversity at the same time.
We already live at the farm of the future because our products contribute to a balanced and healthy diet, which is the basis for a high quality of life for us and our consumers. What could be better than that?

The green gem
With its distinctive colour and acidic flavour, Granny Smith is unique in the apples’ world. Since the other apples could be green with envy!

The classic delicious
Golden Delicious is our main variety and, therefore, the queen of Val Venosta apples. That the most popular apple has a real quality, can be seen in its lovely red cheek. By the way, this is typical of fruits on a hillside.

The Val Venosta resistant
The Pinova with its red vermilion-red skin is a typical apple of Val Venosta. Not only is it colourful, it also has a very balanced flavour. Thanks to its long durability, it offers you unlimited fruit enjoyment until the summer season.
