For generations, our orchards have been family-owned. Since they are cultivated as a secondary occupation, the active and diligent cooperation of all family members is essential. My husband, our three sons, and I are strongly supported by our farm manager Joachim. “Together” is therefore the key word on our farm. Only in this way do the apple orchards receive the attention they need and deserve. Only in this way can nature in our meadows produce the aromatic fruit for which the apple paradise Vinschgau is famous.

For our family, organic is both the present and the future – which we envision as progressively modern yet sustainable and green. Since converting to organic, we have observed many more natural bird nests, occupied with eggs or young birds. We also see the charming and beneficial ladybirds – known from the colourful Vinschgau apple packaging – in the flower and vegetable gardens, and above all in the apple orchard. In short, wherever these beneficial insects can live in harmony with the hardworking farmers and with nature itself.
