Val Venosta: The secrets of a special apple garden
Val Venosta – a valley characterized by its Alpine nature and its special microclimate with apples of an extraordinary taste. For satisfying the requirements of the different varieties, the cultivation areas are situated at altitudes between 500 and 1,100m.
Due to more than 300 days of sun a year, less than 500 mm of precipitation per year and a significant difference in temperature between day and night our apples ripen more slowly and more intensely. And the result is excellent: the characteristics of our nature turn Val Venosta apples into inimitable fruits with the best mountain qualities.
