The highlight of the year is the harvest.
My story
When I work in our apple orchards, I often pause. The Merano spa town is just below us. What an imperial view! The Roman Via Claudia Augusta passed there in ancient times and Empress Sissi visited our territory several times as well.
We, the inhabitants of Parcines, are very proud of our panorama and the mighty Gruppo di Tessa mountains behind us. They give us fresh spring water for irrigating our orchards. We need a lot of water on our sunny slopes. This is why the Parcines waterfall with a height of nearly 100 meters is the symbol of our elixir of life.
Gala, my favorite variety, finds best conditions here. We already harvest this early variety in August with our family. It’s followed by other organic varieties that we care for with great enthusiasm and commitment every day. The highlight of the year is the highly anticipated harvest period when an imperial tasting of our organically produced fruits is a real must.
