I’m a full-time principal. Everyday life is quite hectic sometimes. So agriculture gives me a change. My family and especially my son Matthias strongly support me.
Cauliflower comes first on the list of our products. We produce our organic products in one of Val Venosta’s most beautiful biotope landscapes, the meadows of Oris in the municipality of Lasa. It accommodates a variety of rare plants and animals in the valley. Thanks to the organic production method we assume great responsibility for the soil and the environment.
For me, this responsible hobby is a fountain of youth as well and not only when I eat a „Kalterer Böhmer“, an old apple variety, in my orchard. This small, crunchy and acidulous apple triggers memories of my childhood. I hope to leave equally unforgettable childhood memories to my descendants and I’m sure to be on the right track with organic.

The gentle lady
The white cabbage with discrete aroma represents 95% of the vegetables production in the Venosta Valley. By the way, it owes its floral name to a botanical peculiarity: cabbage is the state of the plant that has not yet blossomed.
