For the apple doughnuts on a stick with Golden Delicious apples from Val Venosta coarsely chop the white chocolate and put it in a small bowl. Melt chocolate in bain marie or in the microwave but make sure you don’t overheat it. Repeat with dark chocolate. Then coarsely chop the almonds and set aside.
Wash and dry the Golden Delicious apples from Val Venosta and cut each apple horizontally into slices of approx. 1 cm thick (about 5-6 slices per apple). Use a cookie cutter or a small pastry cutter to cut out the core in the center of each apple slice. Arrange the apple slices one next to the other on a sheet of baking paper.
