Salmon fillet in the oven
with Pinova apples
An unconventional, but perfect combination
The salmon fillet in the oven with Pinova apples is a tasty and nutrient main course. The fresh and slightly acidulous taste of Pinova goes perfectly well with the salmon and alleviates its taste. Furthermore, this dish is easy and fast to prepare.

400 g fresh salmon fillet
½ lemon (juice)
1 garlic clove
1 tsp. mustard

1 Pinova apple
½ lemon (juice)
1 tsp. honey
4 thyme sprigs
3 marjoram sprigs

400 g fresh salmon fillet
½ lemon (juice)
1 garlic clove
1 tsp. mustard

1 Pinova apple
½ lemon (juice)
1 tsp. honey

Preparation
Cut the salmon fillet into two pieces of the same size, rinse under cold water and dab with kitchen paper. Cover a baking tray or oven dish with baking paper. Peel a garlic clove, cut it into half and use the cut side to rub the garlic on the surface of the salmon and on the baking paper. Sprinkle the salmon with lemon juice and spread mustard on the fillet. Salt and arrange the salmon fillets on the tray. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat).
Squeeze the juice of half a lemon and pour into a small bowl. Wash and peel the Pinova apple, remove the core and cut into small cubes. Put them into the small bowl with lemon juice, add honey and mix. Wash and dry thyme and marjoram. Pluck thyme and marjoram leaves and mix with the apple cubes.
Cover the salmon fillets with the flavored apples cubes and put in the oven at 200°C for about 15-18 minutes. Serve the salmon fillets hot with a salad. Make sure you also have lemon wedges and honey on the table to be added to taste.
